In SALESmanago you can generate reports on the activity of groups of contact.
Go to Reports → Conversions & Behaviour
[1] Contact group behavior – choose report type.
[2] Send report to – by default, the report is sent to the email address of the signed-in user. You can enter any other email address into this field.
[3] Add CC – you can also send a carbon copy to any number of recipients (separated with commas).
[4] Contacts – enter names, email addresses or tags assigned to contacts. The report will be generated for contacts you specify in this field.
[5] Exclude Contacts – enter names, email addresses or tags assigned to contacts. These contacts will be excluded from the report.
[6] Date – specify the time period from which you want data to be analyzed.
[7] Report name – enter a name so that you can find the report in the system later.
Now click Generate report. The system will start processing data in the background. When the analysis is completed, the report will appear on the table Contact Analytics (shown below).
TIP: SALESmanago assigns default names to reports, depending on their type. They will appear on the list of reports as such.
In the Contact Analytics table, the report will be displayed under the name BASIC.
Click Open on an entry to see the detailed view of that report.
THE ANALYSIS OF A GROUP BEHAVIOR REPORT
The report starts with general information on the analyzed data set, including the analyzed time period, selected contacts, and excluded contacts.
[8] Visit sources – information on websites from which contacts from this group entered the monitored website. There is a total number of unique visits coming from each source next to its entry.
[9] Search terms – phrases that were frequently searched for and resulted in traffic on the monitored website.
[10] UTM Analytics for recognized contacts – four variables based on data from UTM parameters assigned to identified contacts. Learn more here >>
- Source – the utm_source variable defines how contacts arrive on the monitored website (browser, newsletter, other sources)
- Medium – the utm_medium variable defines what medium was used by contacts to enter the monitored website (for example, newsletter, automation rule, banner)
- Campaign – the utm_campaign variable is used to analyze keywords, it is useful in identifying specific promotional or strategic campaigns,
- Visits – the number of visits identified with a UTM parameter
[11] Clicked links – a list of most common URLs that lead contacts from this group to the monitored website.
[12] Sent emails – a list of email campaigns sent to contacts belonging to this group + performance statistics (the number of times messages from that campaign were sent, opened, and clicked).
