This rule starts when the contact change from opt – in to opt – out. There are two ways to trigger the rule:
- the contact opt-outs out via a link in an email
- the contact is opt-ed out through the API
IMPORTANT: If you use this event, you can’t trigger Action: send an e-mail, because the contact will not receive it. However, you can use it to add tags or notes.
