Adding inline images in templates

Graphics for mail templates can be added through inline links. That means they will be permanently encoded in the template instead of being downloaded from the server when the message in the user’s browser is opened.

In order to activate the option enabling inline images in emails, go to  SETTINGS->OTHER->Application -> Inline images active

If you design your templates and graphics yourself, use HTML coding to enable inline images. This can be achieved by simply adding <img> atrybut: class=”sm-inline” to the HTML code.

Example:

img class="sm-inline"style="display: block; border: 0px;"src="https://salesmanago.pl/obrazek.jpg"

However, we do not recommend adding inline images to templates as:

  • due to its larger size, it will significantly increase the time required to send your mail,
  • mobile devices users will use up more data from their data packages when downloading such mail,
  • some email providers might treat such emails with suspicion for spam detection purposes, owing to their self-  -contained mechanisms displaying graphics without the need for download,
  • ‘Open Rate’ figures may be understated as a result.
