Condition: email received from a contact

This condition refers to the incoming email you receive from your contacts. This condition can be used if you have setup your own account for incoming mail servers or if you are using SALESmanago Marketing automation mail servers.  In both cases, it has to be ensured that the incoming mail remains on the server and is unread.

The condition has to include:

[1] The type of condition: email received from a contact.

[2] Subject contains: the phrase SALESmanago checks incoming messages from contacts. If you find the subject of the message specified in the rule, the event starts. This could be, for example; a fragment of a news topic, that you want to send to the contact. If you get a reply in the same thread, the condition is fulfilled. For example: send a message with the subject “offer cooperation with ABC” and set the rule to the phrase “offer of cooperation.”  If you get incoming messages with the subject “Re: offer of cooperation with ABC”, the desired phrase will be included in the topic. This allows the condition to work and triggering of this action. Now, transfer the contact to the stage of the funnel, “replied to the offer.”  When done, you can use regular expressions such as URLs.
