Report on external events

In SALESmanago you can generate reports on external events that occurred for specified contacts.

Go to  Reports → Conversions & Behaviour

[1] Event report – choose report type.

[2] Send report to – by default, the report is sent to the email address of the signed-in user. You can enter any other email address into this field.

[3] Add CC – you can also send a carbon copy to any number of recipients (separated with commas).

[4] Contacts  enter names, email addresses, or tags assigned to contacts. The report will be generated for contacts you specify in this field.

[5] Exclude Contacts – enter names, email addresses, or tags assigned to contacts. These contacts will be excluded from the report.

[6] External event type – from a list, choose an event type you want to analyze. You can choose between several events, including cart (adding a product to a cart), purchase (buying a product or service), visit (entering the monitored website) and phone call.

[7] For detail – from a list, choose a detail type you want to analyze.

[8] Date – specify the time period from which you want data to be analyzed.

[9] Report name – enter a name so that you can find the report in the system later.

Now click Generate report. The system will start processing data in the background. When the analysis is completed, the report will appear on the table Contact Analytics (shown below).

TIP: SALESmanago assigns default names to reports, depending on their type. They will appear on the list of reports as such. 

In the Contact Analytics table, the report will be displayed under the name EXT_EVENT.

Click Open on an entry to see the detailed view of that report.

THE ANALYSIS OF AN EXTERNAL EVENT REPORT

The report starts with general information on the analyzed data set, including the analyzed time period, selected contacts, and excluded contacts.

[10] External events – the number of external event occurrences by Type and information on the Value of the event (lowest, highest, mean, median, and total value).

[11] External events grouped by details – the number of external event occurrences grouped by the specified details

[12] External events for clients – the number of external event occurrences for clients, by Type and information on the Value of the event (lowest, highest, mean, median, and total value).
