To use the AI Studio, you need to have an OpenAI account. This article explains how to integrate the two using an API key.
The process is simple and requires no specialist knowledge.

1. Create an OpenAI account
NOTE: Before you create an OpenAI account and integrate it with the SALESmanago AI Studio, you can try the free demo version, which allows you to enter up to 20 queries. To continue using the AI Studio afterward, follow the instructions below.
When you have completed the free demo version, click Go to OpenAI.
You will be redirected to the OpenAI website, where you need to register or, if you already have an account, log in.
You can sign up in three ways: by creating an OpenAI account using an email address; by using your Google account; or by using your Microsoft account.
After logging in, follow the instructions provided in Sections 2 and 3 below.
2. Configure payments
ChatGPT API is a paid, although inexpensive, service. When you have completed the free demo version, to continue using the AI Studio, you need to set up payments on the OpenAI website.
To do this, after logging in to the OpenAI platform, go to the profile menu in the top right-hand corner and select Manage account.
Go to the left-side menu and select Billing → Overview. Click Setup paid account [A].
Select the account type (individual/company) and fill out all the required fields. Confirm by clicking Setup payment.
3. Integrate the AI Studio with your Open AI account
On the OpenAI platform, go to the profile menu in the top right-hand corner and select View API keys:
Click on Create new secret key:
A unique API key will be generated for you. Copy it by clicking button [A]:
Go back to SALESmanago. Click Enter your API key.
Paste your API key in the input field [1] and click Connect [2].
That’s it! You have integrated your AI Studio with OpenAI. Now you can leverage artificial intelligence to create compelling email content.
NOTE: If you have skipped the demo version and want to connect your OpenAI immediately, click Continue with your OpenAI account.
Then paste the API key and click Connect.
