SALESmanago allows you to perform collective contact management. In the Manage Contacts panel, you can choose actions you want to direct towards the contact group. You can generate a coupon for contacts, that you can use in an email (e.g. a birthday email that contains the birthday discount coupon) or in a text message. Coupons may be transferred to external systems through API.

Go to CRM => Contact list => Manage Contacts

Above the list of action you can find fields in which you can define the contacts for which you want to trigger the action. Determine the contact group and then choose the action Generate coupon marked on the list of actions on the illustration above. Then, go to the settings of the action.

[1] Generate a new coupon for a contact – tick the checkbox.

[2] Coupon name – enter the coupon name (without spaces or diacritical signs).

[3] Coupon length – determine the number of characters of which the generated coupon will comprise of. In this stage you do not have the influence of the appearance of the coupon.

[4] Valid (days) – determine how long the coupon will be active.

IMPORTANT: If you wish to generate codes from an imported file, you will have to create an automation rule which can be run from the level of contact management. The ‘Generate coupon’ action in Contact Management will not generate codes from an imported file.

To confirm the action, click the button Perform actions that you can find below the list of actions.
