Workflow Action: Add task on Contact Card

This Action allows you to automatically add a task with a defined completion deadline to the Contact Cards of Contacts that have reached this stage of your Workflow.

The SALESmanago system will automatically send a reminder about the approaching completion deadline to the respective main owners of Contacts that have reached this stage of the Workflow. The reminder can also be sent to one additional email address, as specified in the Action’s settings.

On the SALESmanago platform, you can create tasks for SALESmanago users related to individual Contacts. You can find all tasks related to an individual Contact on the Contact Card, under the Notes and tasks tab.

After adding this Action to your Workflow, define the following settings:

[1] Task—Enter the name of the task that will be added to the Contact Cards of Contacts that have reached this stage of the Workflow.

[2] Category—Choose a pre-defined task category. You can create task categories in Menu → Settings → System settings → Tasks tab. Task categories allow you to easily identify groups of similar tasks.

[3] After—Specify the time within which the task should be completed. This deadline will be automatically set for all tasks created through this Action.

[4] Remind—The SALESmanago system will automatically send a reminder about the approaching completion deadline to the main owner and, optionally, to one additional email address (see point [5]). Decide how much time before the deadline the reminder will be sent.

[5] Send alert to specified email address (optional)—Here, you can enter any email address that will be included in the CC field of the reminder sent to the main owner. Note that both recipients will be able to see each other’s email addresses.
