Workflow Event: Any Personalized Banner variant clicked by Contact

This Event occurs when a Contact clicks on any variant of a Personalized Banner configured in Menu → Web Tools → Website Personalization → Personalized Banners.

In the Personalized Banners wizard, you create a single Personalized Banner that can have a number of variants. These variants (banner versions) can be added at Step 2 of the wizard:

The Event: Contact clicked on a banner from a group allows you to configure a Workflow (or its part) to be triggered when any variant of a Personalized Banner is clicked by a Contact.

TIP: If you want your Workflow (or its part) to be triggered when a Contact clicks on a specific variant of a Personalized Banner, use the Event: Specific Personalized Banner variant clicked by Contact >>

After adding the Event: Any Personalized Banner variant clicked by Contact to your Workflow, define the following settings:

[1] Banner group—Select an existing Personalized Banner from the list. The Event will occur when a Contact clicks on any variant of this particular Personalized Banner.

[2] Follow an alternative path after—This option will only be available if this Event is not the triggering Event for the Workflow (i.e., if it is preceded by another Event, a Condition, or an Action, and not directly connected with the Start element). Here, you can specify the time after a previous Event/Condition/Action for which the system will wait for this Event to occur.

If the Event occurs within the specified time, the primary path will be followed immediately.

If the Event does not occur within the specified time, the alternative path will be followed.

Click Save to continue configuring your Workflow.
