Workflow Event: Contact added to stage in funnel

This Event occurs when a Contact has been added to a stage in one of your sales funnels created in Menu → Audiences → Segmentation → Sales funnels. This can be a specific stage in the funnel or any stage in the funnel.

After adding this Event to your Workflow, define the following settings:

[1] Funnel—Select a funnel from the list of all your existing funnels. The Event will occur when a Contact is added to a specific stage of this particular funnel.

[2] Stage—This list includes all stages of the funnel selected in point [1].

If you want the Event to occur when a Contact moves to a specific stage in that funnel, select that stage from the list.

If you select any, the Event will occur when a Contact is added to any stage in the selected funnel.

NOTE: If the funnel stage is changed through Menu → Audiences → Contacts → Contact management → Contact Manager → Add to/Remove from sales funnel stage, the Event will not occur unless the Workflow is selected in the Run Workflow section:

[3] Follow an alternative path after—This option will only be available if this Event is not the triggering Event for the Workflow (i.e., if it is preceded by another Event, a Condition, or an Action, and not directly connected with the Start element). Here, you can specify the time after a previous Event/Condition/Action for which the system will wait for this Event to occur.

If the Event occurs within the specified time, the primary path will be followed immediately.

If the Event does not occur within the specified time, the alternative path will be followed.
