Workflow | Event: Contact has been added to the system

This event concerns new contacts that have been added to the system by means of API and the contacts that are in the system because they have subscribed by means of a contact form. This facilitates tagging each new email address or sending information to salespeople about a new contact.


From the list of the elements in Workflow choose Event => Contact has been added to the system

IMPORTANT:  If you update a contact in SALESmanago through the API – upsert method and the contact already exists – the rule will not be triggered. SALESmanago only recognizes the first time the contact was created in the system. It works the same way for adding deleted contacts. The API will only trigger this event if the contact was permanently deleted in the past.

IMPORTANT: Triggering an event via Manage contacts will not work
