Workflow Action: Add/change dictionary detail

This Action allows you to automatically add or change a dictionary detail on a Contact Card.

A dictionary detail is an additional piece of information about a Contact. Dictionary details must be predefined in Menu → Settings → System settings → Dictionary Details tab and can only include numerical data (e.g., shoe size) or dates (e.g., a subscription date). You can find dictionary details on the Contact Card, under the Details and tags tab.

 After adding this Action to your Workflow, define the following settings:

[1] Detail name—Select an existing dictionary detail that will be added to or changed for Contacts that have reached this stage of the Workflow.

If a Contact that has reached this stage of the Workflow does not have the selected dictionary detail, the detail will be added to their Contact Card with the value specified in point [2].

If a Contact that has reached this stage of the Workflow already has the selected dictionary detail, the detail’s value will be updated with the value specified in point [2].

[2] Detail value—Specify the value with which the dictionary detail will be added or updated for Contacts that have reached this stage of the Workflow.This option looks different depending on your choice in point [1]. If you selected a dictionary detail of the date type, you can specify a date. If you selected a dictionary detail of the number type, you can specify a number (greater than 0).

Click Save to continue configuring your Workflow.
