This event will be triggered if the contact has a new owner. You can assign a new owner either on the contact card or by automation rule.

Note: This event does not start for mass assigning owners through Manage contacts, or importing files from xls/csv/xlsx.
Go to AUTOMATION PROCESSES => WORKFLOW
From the list of the elements in Workflow choose Event => Contact has a new main owner/co-owner
Then, proceed to the settings of the event:
[Ownership type:] choose the main owner, co-owner or any of the above.
[Owner]: choose the user’s address email.
Once you’re done, click Save changes to continue.
IMPORTANT: Triggering an event via Manage contacts will not work.
