Workflow | Condition: contact clicked on a link in the email

This condition is fulfilled if the contact clicked on the URL in the email, or not.

In this condition you need to specify:

[1] The type of condition – Contact clicked on a link in the email.

[2] Following element – to change these condition settings, we need to link it with another element (event, condition, action). On the arrow, you can see a grey element with a setting icon. Click it to display a pop-up window with settings.

[3] Pop-up with settings – right here you have to set all data about the condition as:

[A] Optional “no” – denial of the condition, the condition will apply to all contacts that did not click on a link in the email.

[B] Email – an email in which one the contact clicked in a defined URL address. By clicking the “Preview” button, you can take a peek at the email template.

[C] URL – the condition will be fulfilled if a contact enters the following URL address in the email. The URL field should indicate a phrase (e.g. “login”), not a protocol or domain.

[D] Save changes – click the button to save all data.

IMPORTANT: The condition works correctly only without “https://www.”, you have to enter the website address without any client-server model or subdomain, e.g. “”.
